As a part of the Pavilion Cross-Occupancies intervention in the Barcelona Pavilion, on Sunday, February 18, the curators and founders of Pavilion of Culture initiate a public discussion about our institution. The exploration reflects on the Pavilion 13 original function of glorifying the coal industry and its transformation into a shelter during wartime. Against the backdrop of the stable Barcelona Pavilion, this piece explores the challenges and possibilities of utilising spatial resources during times of war and peace.
