Pavilion 13 Coal was built in 1967 at the Exhibition Centre VDNG in Kyiv as an exhibition space for promoting the achievements of the coal industry of the Ukrainian SSR
Its architecture originally consisted of a large exhibition hall used for permanent exhibitions, a cinema hall and a hall connecting the above-ground part with an underground replica of the mine
